Bed & Breakfast
The Schoolhouse is situated in the picturesque village of Dornie, just a short walk from the famous Eilean Donan Castle. There is a local shop, hotel and pub (both serving good food) just a stroll away. This former village school has been sympathetically renovated to offer accommodation in a self contained wing with four warm, comfortable rooms plus a guest kitchen/dining area.
The Schoolhouse is a great base to explore the Isle of Skye, and surrounding area, with the Skye bridge just 9 miles away. The surrounding scenery is spectacular at any time of year and is a great favourite with hill walkers.
There is something for everyone here, whether you want to tackle the Five Sisters of Kintail, take a boat trip to see the local wildlife or just relax with a sketch pad.

The railway station is 8 miles away at Kyle of Lochalsh and has a regular service to Inverness - rated as one of the top scenic train rides in the country.
The Schoolhouse is amazing! Great rooms with plenty of space and everything you need. The kitchen is brilliantly equipped with plenty of food for breakfast. Majestic location just a few minutes walk from the Eilean Donan Castle! Absolutely recommended!!
